There was a lot of it going on yesterday I think the drivers briefing went on deaf ears for some people there is a mk1 left hand drive clio in my other video the bloke was a nob I don't think he even spoke English..

Driver standards on track days can be bad at times but on these show days it’s damn right dangerous at times. I remember at Combe for Forge action day last year a guy in a renault 5 went off onto the grass by Camp corner and decided to reverse back onto the track and perform a 3 point turn while there’s people coming towards him. I know Mark Dow well and he’s finding it more difficult than ever running track time on his show days due to insurance and the venues expectations.

It’s only a matter of time before they pull the track time which is a great shame.

Yeah it is a shame and I have only been to a forge action day once and it was a propper free for all but I like the fact fcs are only doing big sessions. £25 for 15 mins meant it was a free for all but 75 for 2 hours there where only good confident people on track also means the hero's who have the faster cars with no track experience don't go for the "advance" sessions.

But it is the reason I've stopped doing sessions at trax.

NEVER do a track session at a show, majority of people there have no driving etiquette, understanding of their surroundings etc, I was never a massive show-goer years ago when I was into Dubs, but I went to one and signed up for track, I came back in after like 3-4 laps and signed myself off! My friends still do stuff like Trax and then they tell me how bad it is, I do tell them not to but they don't listen lol.

yeah as i said i am winding it down but i do love going to fcs and doing it.

Well that escalated quickly.. fly down to Donington after work to catch an hour of the track day don't mind if I do..

I still haven't managed to get my videos sorted from Thursday but helpfully I will over the next few days however trawling the internet to find a video with my car in it I found this a full lap when I was hunting a s2k

has it really been this ling since i have logged anything.. so much has happened. not my baring has come back through on my top mounts so I have a new one on order and have also just this min paid for some rear door cards will look nice and might even make it quieter.

So after much faffing and a bit of cutting and drilling there in only managed to chip one corner which pissed me off but there in and look good.



Still got bits to do Inc my number plates and remove the stickey stuff from the door cards and plates..

So ring prep is going well.. so far I've managed to fit the top mounts baring and rear door cards.. checked a bit of the engine over still got so much to do lol.
