29.5k miles, 100% standard, 99 fuel, Michelin PE2s up front.

18 seconds or so, about right?

Can't stop driving it at the moment...love it.

Looks and sounds right to me mate, nice and healthy.

These launch so much better with TCS turned off.

I've done exactly the same thing: (with a bad point of view :worried: )

I'm counting:

0-62mph: between 6.5 and 6.7s

Word of warning...avoid the kerbs...they're quite severe. I spent a day pounding them then had to shell out £500 this week for new lower front ball joints/hub assemblies as a result.

That sounds nice! Looks noticeably quicker too. Mileage?

It now has about 8000 km (about 5000 miles), and it has been remapped at 4000 miles.

It is actually a bit faster yes. A friend of mine has a new BMW 535d E60 and he's only faster above 135 miles/h. This thanks to the longer 6th gear. I'm guessing that the 197 wouldn't have this issue.

Another time I met a 535d F11 ( the new 313 hp model ) and same story. The owner looked surprised, as we did not reach above 120 miles/h. So I quite owned him
