    Big Bens non Clio

I am definitely keen for another track day, and hopefully it'll be more of a regular thing for a few from this forum to meet up around the country at various events. Coilovers and ad08r's are on my hit list before the next outing :) Hope the car is an easy fix ben, god knows you've spent enough...

    Guess the collection date(Prize)

He's a good guy, but I think his downfall at the mo is that he's too busy. I don't doubt for one moment that he won't be trying 110% to get it done in 2 weeks, but I think it all depends on the amount of urgent jobs he'll have turn up out of the blue I'll pop in end of the week and ask how...

    Gearbox Replacement

I'm sure i've seen that rentune can do the whole job for around £650. I paid £500 for the bearings to be replaced in my gearbox, including removing and refit of gearbox

    Subframe adjustment - Help needed!!

Its unlikely you'll make things worse by trying to move the subframe yourself, & it wouldn't cause tyre wear if you get it wrong. If the subframe does move, you'll either make it pull more to the left, or you'll improve it. Clios aren't known for adjustable camber with moving the subframe, thats...

    Subframe adjustment - Help needed!!

And the alignment specs are wrong on that print out you've put up, which is why the values are in red

    Subframe adjustment - Help needed!!

You've got slightly more negative camber on your front right than on your front left, its not a huge difference but it does tie in with the fault of pulling to the left. If you were going to unbolt and re-fit the subframe, try and pull the subframe to the left when its bolted back in place. This...

    Subframe adjustment - Help needed!!

This thread had got a little confusing! Looking back through its stuart that was having problems with his car pulling and related it to spacers, and your car follows the camber of the road.... which is normal

    Subframe adjustment - Help needed!!

Your alignment results look good and there's nothing on there that would cause pull. Would it be worth while to get it checked out on a second alignment machine just to confirm? Seek out a hunter machine if possible, also get them to print out symmetry and setback values to make sure everything...

    Subframe adjustment - Help needed!!

If the subframe wasn't lined up it would show in the camber readings on an alignment check. Post up your alignment results if you can

Campaign To Stop The Sale Of Black Renault Diamonds (POLL ADDED)

I've also just joined the blackdiamonds crew! I'd like to thank @LOCKE for starting this thread, I made sure I bought my black editions before any ban on sales kicked in :thumb: (not that they'll get enough support)

    Toyosports or K-tec Exhaust Manifold

I've also got the toyosport, couldn't justify paying 3 times as much for a k-tec. Mine did knock on the subframe, so fitted powerflex torque arm and lower engine mounts inserts which stops the knocking, but does add a fair bit of vibration feel at tick over.... although the mounts improved gear...

Has your gearbox been replaced? Yes or no?

Just had my main shaft bearings replaced at 64k, synchros were inspected but no faults found with them... so still on the original box :)
