    My Clio 200

I'm sure it would be great on track. It's certainly stiff enough, but it won't be going on track while its in my ownership. It's a strictly second car for me to drive to work. The drive to work does involve some great roads though and when the weather is good I usually take the long way.

    My Clio 200

Thanks. Yes, it's immaculate with only 30k on the clock. The brake pads were still the original Renault ones and were all worn down evenly. It still had the original Contis on the rear. The only exception was the exceptionally sh*t goodrides on the front. Baffles me why you keep a car so...

    My Clio 200

Here's a few pics of my new to me Clio 200. After a quick wash. Four new Goodyear F1's fitted. Transformed the car. I then changed all the brake pads to OEM spec Brembo ones. This helped with the long brake pedal. A fluid change will be carried out next time I'm home.

It's a 61 plate on 30k miles, so the belt isn't due for a couple of years yet as far as I know.

Apologies for the delay in update. I picked the Clio up and had a disastrous drive home. The car is immaculate but for some reason the owner put budget baldy good ride tyres on the front and 3mm contis on the back. I ended up stuck in traffic while one of my twin boys was admitted to a&e...

I think I need to try and buy a car from a member on here. You're all as fastidious as me when it comes to looking after cars.

I wouldn't be interested in fitting them after. I won't be doing many miles so the bolsters should be ok. That's always a weak point on any bucket seat. My Subaru was the same.

It has to be an FF. There's another one nearby. I'm tempted but it doesn't have the Recaros. I drove a mates R27 F1 a few years ago and really liked the seats. This one is at Arnold Clarks. So still potentially dodgy!

Thanks for the link Pav. Unfortunately as nice as that car is it's a cup. I want all the toys. :)

Ok, I hear what you're all saying and thanks. I'm not desperate. It's a second car and will probably only cover about 300 miles a month. I'll bide my time. This ones been for sale for 3 months now and now I know why.

It is and the only negotiation is chucking in the 12 months warranty. I think I will take a look as it's the spec I want. I was going to service it myself anyway. the mileage is average. I'm certainly not putting down a £500 deposit. The good thing is, it's only 70 miles away. The rest I've...

Hi, I'm doing my research into a Clio 200. I've joined so I can I have a proper read of the forum and see some of the topics concerning these cars. I've read the buyers guide and I think I'm pretty much up to speed with what I'm looking for. I have found a car, a black 2011 Clio 200 full fat...
