Update Ive had the AA out this morning, and it started up okay! Granted to me it sounded like a sack of sh*t! He diagnosed it as a small leak somewhere in the manifold area. Hopefuly a small welding job not a brand new one! :s

Does anyone think a worn hub ball joint or the hub itself being worn could cause this?

First thing I did think of actually! Looked okay at the bottom..cant see up towards the top of the spring.

Yeh they were fitted about two months ago correct sizes. Going to have a another look in the morning to check the arch isnt bent in towards the wheel. Other wise a trip to the garage as everything else behind the wheel around the hub looked okay to the untrained eye...

My drivers side front wheel when on full lock left rubs against the wheel arch... this is the bumper side. The passenger side has about 2inches clearence. So what on earth is that about!?

I think this is a good idea.. When I had trouble with the wipers I went through cleaning the gutters out.. if you look at the actual rubber pipes the water flows through they have a stopper/lip at the bottom. . Another Renault site...not clio sport :thumbsup: suggested cutting these off too...
