Some mad fool in a Twizy A316/M3 rush hour!

Not sure I would want to try that for real :-) I think as a short A-B vehicle they make sense but I don't think they were ever designed to be running up and down busy motorways especially this time of year. They do look like a lot of fun though!

Some mad fool in a Twizy A316/M3 rush hour!

No - although it sounds like I'm about to be surprised I expect - still looks wrong on a motorway on a dark, wet autumn evening!

Some mad fool in a Twizy A316/M3 rush hour!

I think it did but it just looked wrong! What next a Twizy trackday at Bedford perhaps! ;)

Some mad fool in a Twizy A316/M3 rush hour!

Some mad person (sorry if you are on this forum) in a Twizy on the A316/M3 road tonight at rush hour in the rain. Looked very exposed (makes a Smart TwoTwo look safe. Understand the benefits of having one but really, do you value your life! :scared:

    GoPro mounting location?

I've got a Hague headrest mount which I can no longer use as I've sold the Clio and my current seats have integrated headrests. It's also got the adapter that allows the GoPro on it or a camera/video camera etc. It's solid and gives a good view, no rattles or shakes etc. It's like this one...

Dirty dirty thoughts about a 118d M Sport

I would give it 6 months max before you are extremely bored! The 1-Series is a solid car and will feel nicely refined but the 118d won't give you any thrills. The 123d would be the better model but even so will still bore you after a while... I had a 120d for a year, fuel efficient and a good...

Have I outgrown my clio? Confused feelings! Haha

You sound like you need to take it on the track and fall back in love with it again mate :-) If you change to something like the Z4M, will you still have muppets up your bumper? Yes you will. It doesn't matter what car you drive really. I've had a$$holes in their "sporty" Audi A3s (with...

    Rush

Watched it last night. I thought it was every bit as good as the hype suggested. Great to get an insight into the two drivers relationship and how they really had a great mutual level of respect for each other. I never realised Niki Lauda was so anal! Ron Howard did a good job, great director...

boy racers anoying my other half!

Hi mate, I'm loving it I have to say. I was abit apprehensive buying a car nearly 11 years old with 112k miles on it but a few months or so in now i really do love driving it. I've had 3 911s ( still have my GTS 997) so have been comparing to that and indeed the 200. Im glad I went with the 'S...

boy racers anoying my other half!

Hi all, not driving the Clio of course any longer but I still get idiots trying it on with me in the Boxster since buying it a month or so ago. And consistently I get these idiots less than a mile away from my house (surrounded by them!). Mostly Audi A3s or cumbersome Mercs. I have to laugh...

    New member

Welcome from the previous owner! Enjoy it! It was a fantastic car gave me lots of smiles. The car has a Milltek exhaust which does give it some resonance (most of it from the rear parcel shelf!). I was under the impression it was mapped by the previous owner who fitted the exhaust but I didn't...

    200: Signing off for now

Thanks everybody for the best wishes, it's a great forum this and a great crowd of regulars! I'll be visiting the site you can bet on it to see what's going on. I thought I'd buck the trend of buying an ST but it'll be good to see what the future holds in terms of take up of the 200 Turbo...

    200: Signing off for now

I'll be back I'm sure mate. I replaced it with a Boxster S (986) which I found with a nice spec. It's about time a Boxster got properly driven for a change! So far I've been well impressed, handled nicely this evening in the rain. It compares well with the Clio but different of...

    200: Signing off for now

Hi all, After a great couple and a bit years owning the 200 Cup, it's now on it's way to a new enthusiast owner. It's been a great car for sure and I've had some great drives in it. I've had a couple of RS Clios now and they never fail to impress but was time for a change. The forum is a...

    G3 Paint Protection

Hi, We've had Gtechnic applied to my wife's black 3-series from new and and a year and a half on, it appears to be still doing it's job. I think the 5-year guarantee really applies to the main bodywork rather than the glass/interior etc. My life is made twice as easy when cleaning (compared to...

    997 GTS Lightpainting photos

Thanks mate. Also agree on the comments about the colour. I wouldn't normally go for grey myself but in the sunshine (when we get some) it really looks great. I may look to get some shots with the Clio soon so will post these up when done. Cheers!

    997 GTS Lightpainting photos

Agree, that pic is my favourite too. I've got the same one with the interior lit up which looks quite nice also but I prefer this one. My cast came off Friday after 6 weeks so was good to start driving again this week! Cheers!

    997 GTS Lightpainting photos

LOL - Cheers mate. I am poor trying to run both though :-) Tax on the Porker a nice round £475 a year due this month and the 200 due at the same time. Not sure how I managed that clash :-)

    997 GTS Lightpainting photos

A keen photographer mate of mine managed to shoot some fantastic pictures of my other baby the other night. Other than having to wait so long for it to get properly dark and getting bitten by midges in the process, the shots were well worth the wait :-) Cheers
