Hi there,
Hope you are all well.
I will shortly be buying another Clio 197. Having owned a Nimbus Grey 197 F1 around 5 years ago its time for me to get another. My company car is a 320d MSport Touring but I fancy a Clio for weekends, trackdays and the occasional day when the weather is nice...
Ash,
Nice to see you here and glad my little baby has gone to a good home.
Wish circumstances had not forced me to have to get rid of it, but perhaps one day I can get back to the Renaultsport fold with the Clio V6 255 I really want.
Have fun with her.
Regards
Tim
Hi there,
That was me, just heading home, suprised you didn't see me getting lost in the car park for ages. Kept driving round bits of the rally/drift track and finding bloody ropes in my way.

Hi there,
Had a great day at Gaydon yesterday for the National Renaultsport meeting. Was an early start as I met up with 6 other Clio owners at Leicester Forest East at 8.30am. Then we convoyed to Warwick services to meet up with about 4000 Stoke and Bolton fans and about 30 other...
Hi there,
Spotted a Nimbus Grey Clio 197 coming towards me at around 7.45am this morning on the A516 near Etwall, Derbyshire. I was heading towards Derby, and you were going the opposite way towards the A50.
Gave you a wave, but got nothing back :confused1:

Hi there,
Just following on from the OP's price I have had two Conti SC3's fitted to the front of my 197 F1 today for £234.00 inc VAT, balancing, valves and fitting.
Great price I thought from Castle Tyres in Newcastle, Staffordshire.

Hi there,
NIMBUS !!!!
Well I would say that wouldn't I ??
Seriously Nimbus does look superb, especially when clean and to be honest doesn't show the dirt up that much either. Still looks good a few days after its washed.
Probably doesn't shout look at me like a blue one though.
As...
Hi there,
Picked my 1/2 cage up from Luke (Deako) a couple of weeks ago and had popped into the garage until I decided what I was going to do with it.
Well with the mother in law staying for the weekend (meaning I wanted to get out of the house), and the sun shining I decided to have a go at...
Hi there,
Not 'mine' in the legal sense of the word, but it is home.
We rent it and have lived here for just over a year.
Lived on an housing estate for most of my life, but you can't beat the country. Having a racecourse in the back garden is fun in the summer as well.

Hi there,
Collected my Nimbus Grey R27 on 29th December, so had it just over a month now. In that month the car has covered just over 3000 miles across a mixture of country roads and motorways.
The car has mainly been used for the school run and to get two and from work (about a 100 mile round...
Hi there,
Yep, definately up for that.
Tend to do a bit of photography in my spare time ( www.dunlopix.com )
Also might be worth a convoy down to the Gaydon meet if your going ?
Drop me a PM and we'll have a meet up for some pics.

Tim
Hi there,
Well the weather was pants yesterday, and I have been out shopping today so not had time to wash the car ready for my pics.
My son took some when we were out yesterday which have come out ok, but please remember the car is dirty.

Hi there,
The best bit of the keyless entry system is the way you can lock the car as you walk away by using the little button on the door handle, or the middle of the Renault badge on the boot.
I only found this yesterday after a quick read of the manual, and its ace. Certainly impressive...
Hi there,
Picked my R27 up on Wednesday. Number 85/500
Nimbus Grey with : -
Xenons
Cup Spoiler
Recaro's
Auto Wipers and Lights
Quick pic taken by dealer (its dew not dirt on the car). Some proper pics to follow over the weekend once it has had a good wash and if the weather holds...
Hi there,
You have made a great choice wanting a Clio.
I have done 150 miles since collecting mine on Wednesday night and these things are seriously addictive :w00t:
Keep driving the long way home just to find all the roundabouts.
Welcome to the site and good luck in your search...
