got the ebay exhaust tips fitted today quickly, went for a quick spin, decided to remove and refit with a clamp, on removing some liquid came out is this usual? also once car had been turned off fumes were still visibly escaping the tips, ?

Need some new tyres on the front of my 197, currently have contis on there and i think their appalling in the rain, any suggestions on a good grip tyre in the rain but not too pricey?
