    Service intervals

I've been thinking about this. I don't really like the idea of the same oil being in the car for 2 years.

My previous Clio 182. This new ones got a lot to live up to.

They're all like that on cold-start. Until it gets past the first temp gauge line (sort of the second one - depending if you say 0 or 1 for the first!) and then it comes off the cold map and isn't jerky. You do feel like a bit of an idiot kangerooing along the High Street! You learn to reduce it...

Sorted my pic for this! I've got 3 choices though, so I just need to decide which one! I'll try and get it up on here tomorrow :-)

    POTM - November 2016

Erm, I seem to have forgotten about this, until late on Sunday, which didn't give me much time to sort something out. (I realise we've all had two months!). Is this rolling over again, or is there a different topic, as no one seems to be getting involved with this one? Cheers!

Small Holes on Air Intake Pipe

I think I know what you mean. It's got small longitudinal holes all the way along it. It's the induction pipe which comes from the air filter, round the front of the engine? Yeah? I never did anything with mine. I'm just trying to describe it a bit more for others. :-)

    POTM - August 2016.

Thanks! Yeah, I did think that, but the water never seemed to settle, and I had to keep moving the car when traffic arrived lol! I probably looked like a right weirdo, stood in the ford with my wellies on, and a camera round my neck!

    Clunk when clutch disengages

Just wondering if this is normal or not. I've noticed that sometimes, there's quite an audible clunk from under the car when the clutch disengages. It's when you're coming to a stop. You can get it to do it most times if you put it into first as you slow down, then as you're braking, the revs...

197 F1 Newbie after some advise please - throttle response

I'm surprised at this to be honest. I always found mine to be fine, when changing down and blipping the throttle. I just used to give it two little shoves and it seemed to have the desired effect. Maybe I was pressing it harder than I realised though. But it seemed fine to me. So much so, I was...

200T is being replaced, thanks for having me.

I know what you mean about the sport mode. I just put it in manual shift too, then you can leave it in 5th and 6th etc, instead of 3rd gear which the car thinks is appropriate. Enjoy your new car!

    Front Splitter

Hi guys and girls, Has anyone got the part number for the very bottom front splitter? (The black plastic one). The previous owner of my car seems to have run it over a kerb, and it's scratched and a little out of shape. I've just rung Renault and they've quoted £165.24 + VAT. I was...

    new camera

I noticed you said aviation pics. If you're taking a picture of a propeller plane, you'll want to be using TV mode. The last thing you want to do is freeze the propellor as it's flying over. So, experiment in TV mode. You should be able to keep it in focus while following it through the sky at...
