Linkage didn't get sorted today as I left the car and the techy was off ill :mask: I'll update when he's back next week and sorts it.

Don't know about adjusting the linkage, just greasing the bushings at the end of the selector cables. One of our technicians is doing it for me, if it needs adjusting he will do it.

Changing gearbox oil

Mine has just been replaced with NFP. 1st still a bit stiff to engage when cold. Battery coming out on Friday afternoon and I'll be checking and greasing the linkage bushings to see if that helps. I'll report back my findings, fingers crossed it will help

Agreed, they usually do a couple of part numbers, I replaced the MINI rear discs and pads in Feb. One set of rears had no coating, the other had a black coating. I bought the coated ones and put wheel sealant on them while they were on the worktop. Got all mine from GSF with the 45% off. So 56...

I've got a CTEK MXS 5.0 trickle charger. Great bit of kit. I replaced my Optimate IIISP with it. I strategically pick a dry day and take the car out a fair old run to get all the fluids round it and get things up to temp, a/c running etc etc

Just changed mine yesterday from the original oil to Elf NFP. 1st/reverse has been stiff when the box is cold. Disappeared in a five minutes tbh. Trying fresh oil in the box first before doing anything else/living with it. Early indicators are good for the new NFP in the box. I'll be cold...
