standard rubber front splitter coming off.

Don't remove it, it is held in by a large wedge at each end, they don't like coming out and will knacker the strip if you try to force it. A new one is around £85. It should just push back in, but does need a lot of thumb/finger pressure.

Four summers of fading, you could be stuck with it.

    Post De-Badge Outline

How old is your car? The paint fades around the badge, but obviously not behind it. If this is the case there isn't really anything you can do about it.

    Xenons on a 197 Cup

The regular dark lights are a straight swap, but the cornering lamps won't work. I think the xenons would need more work still.

Ah, the el-cheapo version. With the Clio you don't need to do anything with the card, just have it on your person.

Any recommendations for a new headunit?

Fair enough, you probably do need to go for a better HU then.

Any recommendations for a new headunit?

I don't honestly know, I didn't look into it that far, but it is something to consider.

Any recommendations for a new headunit?

If yours is under the seat then it will be more complicated. The wiring for the power and speakers is also behind the dash, so that isn't a prob, but you will either need to extend or reroute the wiring for the display, aerial and steering wheel controls. Also, the Cabasse stereo has a...

    197: Climate control + Xenons

They are useful. Look out for cars that have had the dark lamps retrofitted; the cornering lamps won't work. It is easy enough to tell if they work, turn the lights on and turn the wheel, making sure the car is not in reverse. Obviously only one side will be on at any one time (in addition to...

    197: Climate control + Xenons

HID's are just aftermarket xenons. OE Xenons are the real deal. The cornering lamps illuminate when you turn the wheel to light up the corner

    197: Climate control + Xenons

Climate control is good, and apart from anything else it really smartens up the interior. IMO the regular (non-Climate) A/C controls look decidedly "Playmobil". The darker lights have cornering lamps fitted. If the car has headlamp wash and auto levelling then it will also have xenons; these...

How long since you reset it? If it has been some time then small changes to your driving style may not alter it, as it is the average singe the last reset.

What do braided brake lines give you

I didn't see any need for braided lines on mine, and I did plenty of track days, brakes were always awesome. I had them on the Puma and felt they made no difference whatsoever, other than being a right pain to fit while avoiding kinking and rubbing.

    paint or powdercoat

Nope, these are the Cup Racers that he bought from me. I had them powder coated, though IIRC they had been powder coated gloss black before I had them done anthracite.

    paint or powdercoat

Not sure if it makes any difference, but they were powder coated previously. I would expect any powder coater would acid dip to remove the existing coating before re-coating.

    Exhaust gone

Get it on a ramp, or at least raise one side so you can identify where the problem is before you make any decisions
