In my opinion, Monitor isn't a necessity. It's now useful for going on track post-map so I can keep an eye on intake temps but I pay more attention to what's out of the windscreen than the centre console. You can always buy an OBD2 reader and use an Android device to get the same kind of thing...

The only disease is manual shifting in sport mode and enjoying the pops on the up shift. No faults so far, absolutely love mine. I’m sure @CallorFold is of the same opinion.
