I managed to fit another pulley for more wrap with a longer belt. It’s mounted on the rear mounting bolt as the other hole won’t After fitting these I took her out to try it and she’s faultless and relentless. 100+ soon comes around and there’s no more misfire. The noise from the PMS...

As Crunchy says that hub position is correct. Maybe get some penny washers (larger) or use the OE bolts if they’re in good condition. Your clamping plates are bolted in different positions and your top nut isn’t done up!

    Track car on a budget!

I’m running around 8 minutes of toe out on the front (per wheel). On the rear I’m running 2.5 degrees of camber and 16 minutes of toe in. I had my car set up by String Theory so I unfortunately don’t know which shims he used but I know he used 2 each side.

It’s Supremes bracket, I think there’s pre tapped holes for another pulley but I have no idea where I’d source one or which belt to get.

Good and bad news. The misfire is gone, she revs all the way out to redline with these coils. I think maybe they’re masking a problem with my battery, alternator or both. The voltage trace in the ECU is erratic whereby the volts ramp up to 14.5 then drop to 13. This all takes place over 30...

I’ve yet re-gap them, they’re still at 0.6mm. I’ll see how she drives and attempt to open the gaps up although that is quite difficult without the right tools

Do you mean the crash bar? If so you can undo the 6 bolts that bolt the legs to the chassis instead

They’ll only run with an aftermarket ECU unfortunately but in essence it is relatively simple. The original ECU can’t run these because of the trigger type needed and the undersized wiring. It doesn’t need a re-tune just some settings changed in the ECU. The R8 coils pull more current but...

In trying to cure my misfire I’ve opted to fit R8 ignition coils and go for full sequential firing instead of the wasted spark used by the original wiring. R8 coils are active coils that use 4 wires (live, ECU earth, signal and earth) with a 5v TTL signal. The OE coils have 2 wires (live and ECU...
