Peter, what are the alignment specs on your car? Mine's behaviour changed drasticly for the better when I added caster and camber, should help with tyre wear aswell.

Yes, but if you have play in the balljoints you will never get it aligned right. As was the case with my car. Had the car aligned 4 times the last half a year...Now i'm finally getting it dialed in, track test next week. I wouldn't know of any shop aligning a car without having the wheel...

We've done the alignment this week after replacing all the balljoints in the hubs...tracking was off, set it now with some toe-out and more negative camber (-1,3°). Steering wheel is centered and it doesn't pull to the right anymore. Much more stability.

replaced the trunkdampers, i've hit my head against it a few times because it wouldn't fully open on it's own...So time to replace. Also replaced the bonnet insulation, fitted it with different clips because the ones Renault provides are absolute garbage.

Back and driving amazing, getting alignment done later today.

doing some work to the front end at the moment, complete refresh of the front hubs, new balljoints, new calipers, new wheelbearings, new anti-rotation links, and some other bits and bobs. Removed all the rust, and grime from everything to be reused, painted with zinc and varnished everything.

I'll be attempting it this weekend. I've got the tools now.
