I agree with you. However, unfortunately for me, I haven't noticed any improvement with the lightened flywheel. This, however, is a whole different ball game. 4.4kg. This customer uses the lightweight flywheel in combination with my lightweight crankshaft pulley.

    2012 clio 3RS RB7 #166

I remember my first impession with the lightweight pulley on the Clio - I was like: "OK, Rene, don't get too excited it might be your butt dyno is far off but this sure makes a difference in the first three gears especially". So I called my friend with the Polo 9n2 GTI that I've drag...

Something to liven up my 197 for £200-300 or less!

Had the Sprint booster too, it's an artificial way of upgrading throttle response. Wouldn't recommend it if you like to race (especially drag race from 0km/h). Sold it after 2 months.

    It won't, it's a 20min job.

V6 airbox for the power and sound but I would recommend a remap too to complement the mod. And, of course - lightweight crankshaft pulley (a bit of self promotion there :D ). ;)

I agree - only of they made a Fluid Damper for our cars.

    Lightened flywheels

And I'll repost my post. Just in case you missed it. I wouldn't bother with the flywheel if it's not atleast 2kg lighter than stock. And TBH, better investment would be my lightweight crankshaft pulley that's 26-30% lighter than stock. That's just my 2 cents.

    Lightened flywheels

If a 5% lighter stock flywheel is worth 1/3 price of the 34% lighter brand new aftermarket flywheel is OK to you...mmmmm...you should think harder.

    Lightened flywheels

IMHO, buy a lightweight flywheel or leave the stock one. Everything else is throwing money.

This proved to be the best setup for my car with the parts I had.

And I also made a carbon intake manifold. But it wasn't much better than my modified V6 airbox setup, but it was much louder so I went back to my initial setup.

    Lightened flywheels

I turbocharged my engine so I didn't pursue it any longer. The flywheel is not profitable enough with the material that I would use given in mind the small batch(es). I did the front carbon intake for the V6 airbox based on the first part of the R3 Maxi airbox and it was great. Lended it to...

Yes, that's the only way to go.

    Lightened flywheels

I did it on my stock flywheel. No difference at all due to the fact there's not much material to remove (I believe the difference was 300g). And I spent 100€ for the removing the material and balancing. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/raptor6767/Renault Sport Clio...

    Lightened flywheels

Yes,I was thinking about it and even got one used stock flywheel for comparison but never got the time to 3D scan it and make it (was talking to my friend that's a CNC specialist and he said it's was not profitable enough in such small batches with the material that I would like to use)...

Renault Sport Clio 197 Racing Red

300bhp@0.8bar boost. Full boost at 3400rpm and it keeps it all to the revlimit. Rev limiter set to 6500rpm for now, will be at 8krpm. When all done it will push ~1.5bar boost and probably be in the neighbourhood of ~450bhp. Haven't touched the car in the past 3 months.

Where's the torque curve? I'm talking about corrected power.

Saw that but thought you had Dyno prints with corrected power and torque.
