Could be the fuel pump or something simple like a fuse. Check all the fuses first. Then take the fuel hose off the rail and see if you get petrol flowing when you turn it over.

I fitted my PMS shifter on the drive. Probably more involved than fitting a ZPO/CAE etc. You will need to undo the exhaust clamp and drop it down (keep it supported) then remove the heatshield. Pretty straight forward, just time consuming.

Easiest thing to do would be to take extra fuel to places like Croft. A surge tank seems like overkill for a NA car.

I think the airbag ecu is coded with the cars VIN so the second hand item might need coding too. Shame you’re so far. We could try posting your airbag ECU to me and I’ll try and reset it if you get no joy locally.

The part where you’ve fitted the battery is double skinned with a considerable gap in between. You’d struggle to puncture the tank fitting the battery

As long as you’re bridging the 2 wires on the car side of the loom them that will work too.

Sorry I got my letters wrong UPC is the white engine fuse box which is interchangeable. UCH is the BCM behind the glovebox - linked to the immo, ECU etc

Doors and airbags are the same.

Are you sure it’s the BCM? The BCM is the black box behind the glove box. The UCH (1337) is the white box in the engine bay. Have you checked the linkage and the motor for the wipers? The UCH can be recoded and they’re not linked to your ECU so can be swapped like for like with another.
