    Advice please

So pleased that you managed to find an alternative. That's a horrendous approach to customer service and I'm so glad that you decided not to take up their rather poor offer.

    Pirelli Zero Nero

I've had issues with these on my last car. They're dreadful in the wet...and that's being kind. Mine also started to crack and perish on the sidewall which resulted in them being sent to Milan for testing (while I had to shell out for new tyres...and understandably I didn't opt for Pirellis)...

Work pictures thread .........How do you fill the gap between weekends ?

Crikey!! You're like a regular work action man. My job is somewhat different - I am currently on a two year secondment (just extended by a further two years) supporting and embedding meaningful pupil participation and children's rights in schools across Aberdeen city. That's part of my job...

    Red 200 from Germany

Some stunning photos there! You can't drive on the streets with harnesses in Germany?! That surprises me!

Member of the Moment - sevenfourate

 Outstanding work sevenfourate! [emoji1303] Am I the only one who is creating a strong image of the lady across the street in my head?! Also, thank you for your nomination and kind words. I guess my answers might reveal if I am a nice guy...or not! ;)

    POTM - July!

I'll punt this in to keep it in the minds of others.

THE picture / take a drive thread. Lets have some fun !

Right, I'm going to go for something really easy to keep things rolling. The next photo challenge is to take a photo with a church spire anywhere in the background.

THE picture / take a drive thread. Lets have some fun !

I didn't want to see this thread not progress so...less than 30 mins later...boom. ;) I've taken at two different bridges just in case the first (at a footbridge called the Brig 'O Balgownie) doesn't seem clear enough that it's a bridge. And also the new Third Don Crossing in Aberdeen (see...

Right...I'm going bridge hunting if nobody else does this one today!

    new camera

There are a lot of really excellent basics guides online but my advice would be to familiarise yourself with the settings and what these things mean and then have a play around. That's how you learn the most in all honesty. I'd start with the basics and play around shooting different subjects in...

    Landscapes and Wildlife thread

I don't often take landscapes or wildlife pics and these probably aren't my best but they're accessible to me from my phone so I'll slap them up. Vancouver - Stanley Park Aberdeenshire - Falls of Feugh Crail, Fife Off the coast of Nanaimo, Canada I'll look for some more/better...

    Oh my dear Lord...........

Which is totally ripped off the new Corsa VXR (which they in turn ripped off of elsewhere). Also, would take more pressing issue with those ridiculous front twin lights. However, it's someone's render of what today's V6 might look like; parts of it are interesting.

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Thanks sevenfourate for all of those tips! I've taken a screenshot and subscribed to the thread for future reference. Much appreciated. [emoji1303]

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

It does indeed and you've inspired me having seen the result!! Mine isn't looking too bad but I think I prefer the look without it. I'd have been inclined to polish it too regardless. I always prefer sealing paintwork after a polish and that's pitiably the first time that that section has ever...

    Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

You've done a great job there!! [emoji1303] Begs the question, why did they bother doing putting it on there in the first instance? What was the nick of the paintwork like when you removed it?

    Sprint Spoiler & More Fitted

Thanks so much for this recommendation. I sent a message and got a quick response and I'm very happy with his prices. He's going to pull together a design for me and get back to me so thank you again!

    Tyre time

I'd 100% agree with the others, the F1s would be the way that I'd go. I haven't got them on the Clio yet but I did have some on the Astra VXR and they were superb.

    Doing full LED upgrade

I'll do the brake lights but I'm happy with the silver visions in the rear clusters. They're plenty bright enough and they look much better without the orange.

    Interesting thought for you detailers.............

A very good point to consider. However, I'm a long time convert to Gtechniq's G1 and so rarely ever even touch the wiper stalk. However, there is the odd occasion where a winged rodent decides to empty it's fits right in your field of vision and then it's pretty much unavoidable. Although, if...
