I don't have an issue with how the interior looks, I agree it's actually really nice, I just hate the fact that they've forced red into cars which have no business having red interiors, Liquid Yellow being a prime example :tearsofjoy: It seems 'lazy' to me from Renault, they should have matched...

You make an excellent point buddy, our MK3 interiors are dreadful!! :poke: :tearsofjoy: But it's not the quality/looks of the interior I've got an issue with, it's the colour theme. Forcing red on all interiors make absolutely no sense!!! It's just like forcing everybody to have a green...

@sevenfourate has upgraded his speakers but kept the standard HU, maybe he can comment :)

If you get the CUP edition (like myself) it has a stiffer chassis and stiffer/slightly lower suspension anyway so I personally saw no reason to change. I can't comment on non CUP chassis/suspension though so perhaps others can input :)

If you want power these cars aren't that great, the flat spot is painful in the lower revs. From a remap were talking about 5bhp, but drivability is increased a lot and flatspot is removed. Having said that they are a hell of a lot of fun to drive, and the chassis is it's best feature making...

I've looked at about 7/8 liquid yellow 200Ts on Autotrader and every one has red interior. There was one 220 Trophy with full leather interior that was lovely, but was about 20k :excited:

Keep finding myself looking at liquid yellow 200T's ... the only thing putting me off is the interior. It's absolutely horrible, every interior has the red theme, it makes no sense for any car other than black or red, why Renault? WHY?! :excited:

If you can confirm they're the same with Renault directly then you can just thank them and pick them up really cheap from a breakers like you say :thumb:

Looking at pictures they look the same to me personally, but I can't confirm this. Probably worth ringing Renault parts and asking them, they should be able to tell you :)

Welcome :french: Best colour obviously, I may be biased though :tearsofjoy: I'd recommend upgrading the engine mounts with powerflex ones, improves the car so much (if you can put up with the vibrations).

No, the new tax laws only affect new vehicles registered from April onwards this year I believe. If the 2.0L Clio was new though, under the new tax laws for the first 5 years it would be £1200 a year in tax. Here's the details from the gov.uk website.
