Clio Cup Racer full list of parts?

http://www.rsportonline.co.uk/resources/clio3_cup_en.pdf is probably your best guide. Surprisingly few parts shared when you look into it.

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

It's the day after Donington and what a day it was! Definitely my new favourite circuit. Very cold drive up there and the paddock was very literally an ice rink. Track was very slippy from the word go but started drying quite quickly down through Craners and the Old Hairpin. The rest of it took...

    Milan's Clio 197 Tracktool

If you want to go down the Safety Devices Route but don't want the full weight of the R019 then the R023 is a good option. It's what i have in my car and it's a great bit of kit. It's still not very light but has a few bars less than the R019 but is still MSA approved...

    Trackspec Clio 197

Sad news about the car likely to be going but I think it's all something we get to the point of doing in the end. Will be shame to see this build end but I'm sure we would all like to see the progress on the Escort! Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

    Track car and mot

As has been said, as long as airbag light goes out you shouldn't have any issues. It's a bit tester dependant though so if you're not sure maybe try and find a place that deals with modified and track prepared cars more often.

Renault Cup Replica Alcantara Sterring Wheel

Given that they are direct from Renaultsport i wouldn't imagine they will be selling bad quality wheels. The only thing that confuses me is why they offer two versions and neither has the makers stamp on the front (although more than likely Sabelt as i believe they make the current Cup Racer...

    PB Engine mounts

You should be fine to just add the inserts. The original mounts are designed to have some movement (this helps absorb the vibrations). The only time i have seen people put a new mount is the lower engine mount where the old style rubber ones have ripped slightly.

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

It won't put me off, I know i'm taking a risk with the weather but it will be what it will be. I will probably be slow there anyway so won't rush myself no matter the weather.

As it will be my first time there i really am hoping the weather is kind to me.

    Powerflex bushes

Torque arm is probably the easiest. From personal experience the upper engine mount is next easiest whilst the torque are is off. I found the lower engine mount isn't hard but it also depends what access you have to raise the car up.

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

Just booked onto a Javelin day at Donington for Sunday 1st December. I'll start praying for good weather now to help keep me out of the gravel.

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

I wish they were immaculate! The rears came up like new but the fronts aren't quite perfect. Much better than they were though. I've been looking at trackdays as well to try and give the car something to do over the winter but not sure how long a drive i want in thedark!

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

On a rare day off work I decided to try and motivate myself with some productive cleaning. All wheels off followed by wheel cleaner than some fall out remover. Got to say I'm impressed how much came off the wheels as the barrels haven't been done since the wheels went on. I then decided to get...

    HELP NEEDED....Harness mounting for MSA

It's a bumper off job ideally, you could probably get away with locating it with just the diffuser off. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

    HELP NEEDED....Harness mounting for MSA

The rear towing point is located in the same place as the normal Clio's but the bumper doesn't have a removable cover for it. You will have to put a hole through the bumper to access it.

    200: Winter is coming...

My system is probably terrible but this is what i do. My car lives outside with no cover on and won't be driven much at all, once a month maybe weather dependant. First thing i do is leave the handbrake off. If you're on a slope leave it in gear but i don't have this worry. With regards to...

How to remove Powerflex upper engine mount insert?

when i did mine i had removed the torque mount as well, maybe try unbolting that from the engine as it might give you some room to get it free

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

I'm really struggling with motivation for this car at the moment. With no trackdays planned due to lack of funds, and no further mods on the car for the same reason i'm starting to wonder what to do with it. It feels like a waste to have it sat on the drive and it's too focused with the cage...

Sideshowfreds Ultra Red 200 -- Fully Caged Track Toy

It does have a drain point on the inside but I've not found a way I'm happy to route the pipe yet. I wouldn't bother on a road car, I've only got it as there is a plan to get rid of the air conditioning at some point and it's a very good way to get some cool air into the car when on track...
