Autec wizards I’d go for. Can get them for a lot less than £750 if ordering them from Germany. Some one on the forum bought some recently. Might be worth a search. yes you can fit four of them in the boot as well

Pads are much bigger which should help dissipate heat if not added stopping power. Are you intending to use them on standard Clio discs?

That’s really good weight wise. Mines a whole lot heavier and that’s before the fat bastard driver gets in!

Just a thought, would be worth checking the position of the wheel weights as well in relation to the bigger calipers. Mine fouled slightly on one set of wheels not the other. Got over it by using lead weights and hammering them flatter

Do you mean the Brembos off a mk3 megane? They’re a tight squeeze under a 17” wheel but fit ok even with bigger discs. If you mean will the offset be an issue then I can’t answer as both my sets of wheels are et45

Be interested in what Gaz say about spring rates. I run 650f 350r Gaz golds and don’t feel the need to change a thing. Are cup racers on a “true” coilover or a separate spring and shock at the rear? That might be why you see such variations in rates

I’d avoid Cup 2’s as they don’t seem to work as good on a Clio as other performance models. I’ve got MRF’s currently and they’re good on a track day and possibly safe to go to coffee meets. Don’t think they grip quite as good as AR1 but wear better and I defo wouldn’t use ar1 on street(although...
