The spare UPC I got from a running 197 has a part number 674661B so that was never going to work - so glad that's cleared up I just checked the part number using the reader and the part number is the same as above :) - so get another UPC and hopefully fix the issue before i look at changing...

Thanks again for the help I did get an Icarsoft diagnostic machine, that should show me the part number of the UPC. Nighthsift at the moment so will have a look later in the week thanks again

next steps drain 3/4 tank of fuel thats 4 years old oil filter and oil flush fresh fuel and try to get her started for 30 seconds compression test then pull the engine for timing belt and lick of paint parts needed I would like to somehow find a new 225 engine loom - if anyone has any ideas

**Update:**In case anyone comes across this in the future: I called an auto electrician, and he identified the fault in less than two hours. The ECU was not receiving power from the UPC. He connected a wire to the side of a relay in the UPC and supplied 12 volts to it. This cleared the...

2nd test Voltage on pin 6 & 14 with the ingition on

So these are the results 1st test across pins 6 & 14 for resistance
