The old ones has a cut out to open the bush over the bar, the powerflex ones do not. Do you have to cut them as you cannot slide them along the bar due to the stoppers.

I have privacy tints on my R27 from standard, a previous owner had the front side windows done (probably illegal) but it looks better. I do have to have the windows down and have led reverse lights to see behind when reversing at night.

All the seal is for is to literally seal the panel gaps to stop any crud and water getting inside. Its not structural

If anybody has this issue and is out of warranty i would suggest using 3M drip-check sealer 08531 to seal it (ive used this to seal many race car shells prior to painting) and then touching it up with a touch up pot.

Whilst i was waiting for the flexis, Nick from the forum advertised a used toyo manifold. It was a no brainier to fit it. Combined with a new gasket from Renault (£6) i fitted it. Fitting a toyo is a lot easier due to the smaller single flexi and the lack of the pre cat.
