    Random stutter/misfire

Fair enough. It's just very odd to see all cylinders consistently low. But the results are the results. I'd still get them verified with a leak down test personally.

    Random stutter/misfire

That still doesn't feel low to me, but the wet test will back up your suspicions.

Difference of these ?? 543025293R / 8200926467 (front Cup dampers)

Depends on how you want to use the car. For strictly road, if you have lowering springs, I would steer away from them and use the non-cup 197 shocks.

Difference of these ?? 543025293R / 8200926467 (front Cup dampers)

It's possible that there is some internal differences, but I can't see that being the case personally. As you've seen, both are 200 cup shock part numbers, so I'd just go with whatever is cheapest (which is what I did when I fitted the 200 cup shocks to my ff 197)...

    Silverstone Edition 200 - AST 5100

I didn’t notice much of a noise change on the V6 box, but possibly because the exhaust was so noisy. Car looks unreal.

    OEM vs YellowStuff pads

Yellowstuff are very poor, not what I'd recommend. A complete waste of money. A Mintex M1144 or M1155 would be way more suitable for your application (M1155 front and M1144 rear is a great combination). I can't answer your questions around dust and disc wear, but by their very nature, you would...

Stupid mistake: Have I now got to remove the inlet manifold?

Well you either start it up and hope it passes through without damaging anything, or take it apart to retrieve the errand piece :tearsofjoy:

    Dead 197 - Electrical Issue…

It will still crank with crank sensor failed. Battery needs load testing properly. If that's ok, the battery fuses. If they're ok, then start looking through the power cables and earths.

Clio engine - meganne 2rs gearbox

Well the shafts are the same, so you'll possibly be in the same situation again. The gearing will be completely to shit (if you didn't already know).

    Hard to select gears

That’s not what I said. But they’ll certainly wear much faster with the wrong oil in the box.

    Hard to select gears

Thicker oil won’t be helping, as @burrellbloke can attest to. Stick with the standard grade. The weak link is always going exist on these. Just treat it as a wear item as you would anything else.

    200: Meg swap?

Whatever way you look at it, generally speaking, putting a Megane engine in it will cost at least double what it would putting another 197 engine back in it.
