You're right, the conversion for any Recaro to a standard seat Clio does require a bit of fiddling. I don't see why it wouldn't be a straight swap, but I'm no expert. There's this guide here which may be of some use. However, if they're a very good price then you'll likely be able to sell them...

What a post! Looks like you got some bargains there. I wouldn't worry too much about the coated discs from MTEC, wasn't there a thread last year about the coatings coming off really quickly? In hindsight I should have just removed my rear discs and sprayed the hubs instead of doing a hand job...

Brno is a lovely track, though I've only driven it on the computer, some great corners and elevation changes. Would love to see how a Clio would go round there.

I bought metal spigot rings for my Sparco's from MTec as I wasn't sure if I'd end up melting the plastic ones supplied! 73.1 - 66.1 is quite a gap to fill, but pleased to say they mounted perfectly. Not sure how the hell you'd find a 1mm spigot ring.
