Today my gearbox has developed the crunching problem changing up from 2nd to 3rd. Car is a 60 reg 200 on just over 18K miles. Is this likely to mean a gearbox replacement under warranty from Renault?

The panel behind the front number plate on my 200 was painted Albi Blue by the previous owner. I would like it put back to standard and painted black. I have been quoted £150 plus VAT by a local body shop just to prepare and paint the panel if I take it in to them, or £350 plus VAT for them...

Bit confused about this. I had a new pair of Conti Sport Contact 5 fitted to the front of my 200 a couple of days ago (215x45x17 87W inflated to 33 PSI cold) but the steering now feels a bit vague compared to before they were changed, and there is also a bit of a dead spot when the steering...

As per title, I am thinking about some or all of these. Would it be best to get the exhaust fitted before having the car remapped? I am based in Staffs so guest RS in Leeds will be my best bet for this? Finally does the Akrapovic full system mean the car will fail MOT on emissions? Thanks...

Unbelievable. Can't you take this up with Renault and insist that from now on the work is done by a garage who is actually competent - this is what I would do. Name and shame these jokers so that everyone here can avoid like the plague.
