My old 197 was a right old lemon straight from the factory, forever going wrong and dealers were useless. In the 5 years of ownership they had it more than me. I doubt I'd ever buy another Renault let alone a Clio, but then i stepped into a 265 and it all changed...

How does it compare to the Clio? Always fancied an S2000 but for an ageing 2 seater convertible they're so expensive!

Isn't it against their rules to record yourself anyway? When I was down there a few years back they were stopping people from going on with GoPros etc?

Could you call it a racing incident? Well no because it's not a race but the term covers the same principle. Both parties played a part in this knock. The Clio made a rather silly move but he was obviously trying to learn the 'racing line' and that was a pretty silly/late dive down the inside...

'In a spin, both feet in' is what I was always told even with ABS cars. In other words clutch and brake down hard.

I used a 3 door 225 with my daughter, the front seat ISOFIX was a godsend, sod lumping her in the back though. It's alright when they're newborn but soon as they pile the weight on plus the car seat getting them in the back through the front is a nightmare.

Thanks for all the comments guys. comparing it to the megane they're two completely different leagues. The megane I could happily use everyday and still thrash it around a track at the weekend, whilst being relatively maintenance low and reasonable running costs. Everything about the Evo feels...

Saxo VTS and 106 GTI is such an under rated car.

So in other words just wait until a few tanks later. Top tip always carry some octane booster in the car with you for emergencies :p

You can't really align the subframe by eye, they intentionally fit with lots of movement to allow for easier assembly lines at the factory. All you can really do is refit and get your tracking adjusted to suit? P.s that's a tasty garage you have there!
