Update! It's the flexis! Trying to get hold of a refurbished manifold/Flexi/precat for a local specialist to install. Hoping to sort it all out for £500 or so but not what I need at the moment! Another casually of the classic Flexi split!!

Thanks for the suggestions. If my car passes it's mot in 6 weeks (1% chance ), I'll look at putting in the ktec induction. Flexis are almost shot, so will do the Toyo manifold at the same time.

My driver seat is squeaking when I go over bumps, it’s driving me insane. Standard seats not the recaros. Sounds as if it’s coming from where the top of my back rests against the seat. Anybody else had this? This combined with the squeaky steering wheel is extremely annoying.

It was ridiculous to be honest, screwdriver went through the bottom and poked out the top of the filter. Then had to take the air feed out, 70 year old 50cm chisel over the end of the driver, then a few massive bangs with a few hammer and it finally moved and inch! Oiled up the new one before...

Update! Filter is removed! Had to put a screw driver through, then a few whacks with a massive hammer
