I think the engines lack the grunt (torque) to get them to real high speeds. What with wind resistance etc etc.

Due to the Helix flywheel. Its well documented in the megane world. bit of a pain, but there is meant to be a solution/fix on the way. It comes and goes, but doesnt effect the running of the engine.

Standard internals. There are plenty of scare stories out there about high torque killing engines, but it's only happened to a tiny number of people. All down to what your tuner is happy with tho!

your probably not going to notice any major difference. SO i would say Speedlines for the road, as they look better, therefore should be on the car for the majority of the time :)
