Various pics of my C3RS "Sport Auto Edition"

The corner grip is abysmal for a sport or "performance" tire IMO. Far away from a PS4 which I'd use as reference for only roadusage. The grip loss also comes sudden with no real announcement. No rubbing, no squealing, you just start sliding and end up on the other lane in the worst case. Last...

Then we've completely different understandings and needs when it comes to tires as the Sports are clearly not good and I doubt the Evos are a massive improvement if their main focus is on reducing wear. There's the possibility that the compound got changed over time and that they were acceptable...

I don't know how much better the Evos are compared to the normal Sports our two cheapskates bought? I'd guess not that much. These were S001 if I'm not wrong and these are presumably better tires than the plain Sports. I'm already looking for socks and sandals I can wear with my clipboard...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Saw Ethans lap on insta already. Seems to be a really quick track with some hefty corners/chicanes. The part with the cornfield right next to it is something I haven't seen before. Good luck with finding what ever goes in there. The track surface also seems to be in dire need of a renewal.

Some more shots. On transition between the stages. Following the shepherd. Hunting the beast. Chasing the infamous "Blackforest" Twingo RS.

Various pics of my C3RS "Sport Auto Edition"

We had an "R.S. Days Light" meeting with just nine attendees over the weekend at our usual location in the center of Germany. It was different to the usual meeting with all the orga behind and bling around it but that gave us way more time for driving and just hanging out. We did an awesome...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

That's quite shocking. Good you noticed it before your trip next month. I'm no expert on this and it could be simply the way these parts are casted but to me it looks like the surface structur on the side where the crack in the hollow part is is corroded. Like the metal is macerated/swolen...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Seems you're right and we confused the point E with point H nut. A little further down in the manual it also states "Point H nut: 37Nm".

    Glacier White 200 Cup

I've looked a bit more into it an can confirm that the 37 Nm are correct for the road car as it's also mentioned in the 197/200 service manual. I can also confirm that the value for the Cup is given as 105 Nm for the point E nut as they call it. This value is mentioned multiple times in the...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

I did but one of our guys is speculating if the cause could be your bump steer kit instead. He also mentioned the no thread on the nut as odd. Not sure why the threaded part on the track rod end is so short in general?

Can anyone identify the plaque number of R27 KF07 UUS?

Here is a list of all R27 with colours and configurations sold in the UK. Maybe that helps to narrow down which one it is? The list is from an archived Renaultsport.co.uk website. You can click through the timeline on the top...

    Glacier White 200 Cup

Oha, never saw something like that before. Glad you both and the Clio are ok. Good it happened when and where it did. This could have been much worse elsewise. I'll take your photo and post it over ot our forums if you don't mind.

R.S. Performance Carbon Bucket Seats? Anybody?

According to their description on the Oreca website the shell is full carbon. They also have a FIA certification. So I'd guess they're proper quality. https://en.oreca-store.com/competition-universal-carbon-bucket-seat-for-clio-iv-r-s-and-clio-iii-r-s-rspsbdcc200220.html They also mention that...
