    Clio 197 Wheel Arch Liners

For the Clio RS, 17 inch rims. The normal Clios that use the smaller rim size won’t fit. I mean, they will, but they will have gaps. I’m not sure up until what year but I assume it will fit all years for the Clio RS.

    Clio 197 Wheel Arch Liners

Update: they only had 3 of the 4 available. Paid about $200 euro in shipping and look at how they arrived lol Some packing job, eh? Maybe they shipped it into orbit and back, otherwise I can’t understand the outrageous shipping cost because surely it’s not in the packing haha By the way...

Looking to replace OE shocks/struts with aftermarket, lost as where to begin

Hey there everyone, I have a non cup Renault Clio 197 (2007) and I’m getting a bit of a knocking from the drivers side over small bumps and lower speeds. As a process of elimination to identify the knocking and for the opportunity to upgrade from the original shocks and struts that came with...

    Clio 197 Wheel Arch Liners

Turkie, certainly an innovative solution but I’m not sure how my OCD would handle a patchwork of ill-sized and broken mudguards (haha) but it is 1,000% better than having the bare metal exposed. The local Renault dealer hasn’t responded but like Chloe, I did find some around the same price from...

    Clio 197 Wheel Arch Liners

Yes I certainly managed to put every size besides the ones I needed! Good to know, thank you. I just reached out to the Renault Parts Direct here in Greece. I’m bracing for what the cost will be…

    Clio 197 Wheel Arch Liners

Hi guys, I’m a bit relieved to see I’m not the only one having trouble finding these arch liners. I took my front ones out because not only they were cracked, but the front portion had begun to rub against my tire. I ordered some from Auto Doc and didn’t pay much attention to the part number...

Is this bad? Bottom engine mount and subframe brace threads

@Frank Perry glad I could help!

Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

I could have sworn that was the right bolt, as the 4 I screwed in were all the same size and length; it’s just for that one, I initially put it in the wrong direction (hence the cracking). I have it facing correctly I believe (see pics above) but to ensure they were the right bolts, I tried...

Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

So guys, I think I f*#%^ed up… was screwing this last bolt in that mates up the gearbox to the oil sump, and it started splitting. I think I put it in the wrong way like a moron. Is this how they’re supposed to be configured or do they all face the same way? The one that split in the picture...

Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

Alright guys- I finally have some time to put this new gasket on. Is there anything we put with the gasket or is it as simple as threading it on the oil pan? Any sort of sealant or epoxy type of stuff?

Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

RSRowe- most certainly! Haha I’m going to be extremely careful. I’ve ordered some new bolts for the others that were stripped to hell. Liam- yes, thank you. I have seen this but now I have it handy in this thread, I appreciate it. I knew there were particular torque specs but not in a...

Is this bad? Bottom engine mount and subframe brace threads

Some updates. Got the broken bracket out and placed the new one in. I had to undue one part of the control arm to enable me to move my fingers in and get the old bracket out. I also jacked that unbolted part of the control arm a bit to get some more wiggle room. Before that, I hammered the...

Is this an oil leak from a bad gasket? Or overfill? (Pics inside)

You guys are right- they were the same exact screws. Got them out with a 1/4 socket and found an extension that just barely reached it. Here’s the aftermath: Do yall reckon I can take some cleaner on this while I have the oil pan out? I see there’s this plastic thing that I don’t want to use...
