I've heard a few people saying any kind of cerakote/powdercoat on cast alloy parts can cause weaknesses. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen. Could be a contributing factor maybe?

Had a few PMs about fitting rear the tow eyes so it's probably easier to chuck it in here for all to see. This goes through the mounting plate for the rear crash bar, all you need it to replace the bolt that goes through the rear of the chassis leg with one longer, I think I used an M10x110mm...

Rear towing eyes are easy to fit, I did mine the other weekend, there's even a decent mounting point if you go for the wire loops like I've fitted to mine. I said to Ethan that bad things seem to happen with your Clio every time the Megane comes along:sweatsmile:

Hello! I haven't died. Last year we went to Donington in November, nothing to report in all honesty other than a wheel bearing shitting the bed and my day ending by lunchtime. I wasn't enjoying the day anyway so it was no real loss. Anyway, the Clio has sat and done nothing at all until today...
