+1 on this issue, removed a driveshaft last night and noticed the same thing after our 1 trip to cadwell.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the lack of red flags! It did feel very stable and predictable in comparison to the last day we did at snetterton, I’m interested to get some more track time and try some different damper settings/tyre pressures and see how the car reacts as it was a bit more...

There are flexible materials you can print with like TPU, no idea how it’d hold up on something like that constantly flexing and covered in grease though. Not particularly well I imagine @RSRowe is the professional though :grinning:

Good point. There is a plate on them that goes in the slot in the hub but there could be a bit of movement. It was just barely touching the inside of the wheel.

Turns out I was panicking too much, it was really easy to swap out as is calliper, disk and TRE off. Four E14 bolts and a few taps with a hammer and it came off easily. New ( :sweatsmile: ) one in, threadlocker, and torqued up to 120nm No more play, thanks all

IMO dropping the engine in and sending it sounds like the way to go. You'll have a race car ready to go and an upgraded engine to take your time with over the season.

I managed to get one off a spare set of hubs that seems less shagged! I’ll attempt to swap it over in situ tomorrow

Opinions wanted, Annoyingly I've noticed some play in the driver side hub after getting all the suspension back onto the car. We're thinking it might be from sliding laterally across a kerb during our Snetterton mishap I've attached a clip of it below and a picture of behind. I'm assuming...
