Service interval on low mileage car, mileage vs time.

Isn't is 12k or 12 months? I've always just adhered to that. Just had my cambelt an major service done this summer, technically a year early.

    Throttle body OD?

I need to know the OD of the throttle body on a Mk3 RS. Anyone know? Need to order up some custom Samco for something special. Thanks.

    New intake

I've heard similar things about them. They sound great but actually lose power. I went for the X85 Cup setup for about the same cost. The only downside is having to relocate the battery.

Ultra Red Clio 200: Project Clubsport

Cheers dude. I really need to update it now that Photobucket have crashed all my images! :tired: No major changes recently; I've been focusing on getting it ready for Oulton in August. It's had the huge major service (everything changed plus all fluids) and both belts changed, plus the dephaser...

    Ultra Red 200 Cup FF

Looks great! A few UR 200s cropping up now. I'd say have a look at my build thread, but thanks to Photobucket, the entire thread is now broken. I'll get it sorted soon. Yours looks ace though. :sunglasses:

    New guy - North Wales

Brakes and engine are strong, it's gearboxes (particularly the syncros) that are the weak link. They don't like to be rushed and when people do, they strip.

I've heard that DC5s are a nightmare to set up on non-OE suspension, hence most people going for the OE dampers/Eibach route, like you did. Having driven both, I'd say that the 200 is a weird hybrid of the EK9 and DC5... but y'know, French. They feel really "tippy toe" and pointy like the EK...

200: Clio 200 Rear Discs. Anyone?

Yup. He's fitting my braided lines and Motul fluid too. Should be miles better when it's back.

    Fitting spacers

Honestly, I haven't felt any adverse effects in five years and 65k miles. If anything, it's more stable on higher speed corners and under load. I still have all the factory bearings with no issues and the tyre wear is normal. I do have slight rubbing under really high load (noticed it at the...

200: Clio 200 Rear Discs. Anyone?

Thanks guys. I think I'll just get my specialist to supply and fit for £250. That's including pads too, so I won't beat that even ordering myself.

200: Clio 200 Rear Discs. Anyone?

I've been quoted £250 fitted from my specialist. Sounds fair I think? The discs and pads alone are ~£200, from what I've seen.

200: Clio 200 Rear Discs. Anyone?

Does anyone have a good link to rear discs? (ideally OEM or Brembo) ...or even better, does anyone have any for sale? Thanks!

    RS200 Racing Blue

Superb buy. All the right bits! Agreed on the badges, silver looks so much cleaner. I'd bin the RS200 sticker too, just stick with the new-style RS one. << That one.

    Fitting spacers

215/45 Advan AD08R You can fit 225 sections on there, but you'll have scrubbing issues, so I went with 215s to be safe.
