The idea of having second gearbox sounds like a good plan.

Yes, the joy they bring and the responsibilities you have to deal with. It's okay they grow up at some point and you get your life back.

The car drives better without the spacers on the rear, but the rear end looks awful without spacers as the wheels get lost in the arches. I think in the future we will start every track day without the rear spacers unless we are having any stability or handling issues.

We went to Blyton Park for a track day on Saturday 12th April 2025, Blyton Park is a track that have not been to before. I was not expecting much from Blyton as the track day was cheap at £169 plus an additional driver, videos on line did not look very exciting as the track has no elevation...

My Clio has in it Motul 660 brake fluid, Redline MTL 75w80 gearbox oil and Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5w40 engine oil. I have used the Fuchs engine oil for years and it has always been good, same for the brake fluid.

If you had got yourself a cheap bolt in cage you would not have these problems.

Does your cage not let you fit them in the boot?

Its effect is a lot more obvious on track. You won’t spin up a wheel when accelerating out of a corner, and you have more grip with the throttle engaged on corners.

I think that the centre console is part of the Cup Racer dash, but it looks like it has been cut down.

@EthanMenace whipped the gearbox out today and put in the new slave cylinder. The old slave was not looking very healthy. The outer rubber cover was torn and after we sent a photo to Alex from AW Motorworks he suggested that the slave could have over extended itself. The gearbox was out...

I don't know the solution to the gear linkage issue but have you got a Clio box or a Megane box. The ZPOs are different depending on what box you have got. Terry at ZPO is good with communications so you could try contacting him? It is good to see that your hard work is paying off and the car...
