    We got the resistance in the pedal at the end when we were bleeding it, and not before when we were driving it. This may be a silly question but is the clutch plate all part of a clutch that you can swap out rather than another piece of kit?

    Swivel hubs.

    Renault sell the two parts of the front hubs that come complete with new swivels but they are really expensive. They refuse to sell just the swivel joints alone so you have to buy non-OEM swivels. You can get replacement swivels and press them in to the hub parts that you have already.

    I would keep your current engine until it blows up and then swap it. Clios are really quick round corners when they are set up properly. They do suffer with a lack of power on straights but part of the fun on track days is passing cars that should have more grunt but just cannot corner like a Clio.
