Hello all

Took the subframe off to repair the manifold and now when trying to get it back on the uj just wont go back on the shaft. Tried everything if anyone can give me some advice I'd appreciate it

Thanks

There is a two flat sides you have to line these up then the bolt goes through.

I've been lining the two flat spots up but it still seems like the gap is too small for the shaft to fit

It's hard to explain but turn the hinged part 90 degree so the open part it facing down.

Line up the straight bits and slide the hinged part over the lower part.

Dont try to push the lower part into the top part.

I've given up for today and tried everything I could. Thought it would be as simple as sliding it in but it just wont fit. I'll give it another go tomorrow and see how it goes. Should've paid someone to do it

It's easy when you know the trick honestly. It's not designed to slide away from each other.
