You can weld a large nut onto the threaded part and give it some heat and unscrew the ball joint from the arm.

My renault specialist has done this 100s of times.

New wheel bearing fitted

Now just waiting on the new lower wish bones which should be here tomorrow.

Applied a small amount of copper slip to the bolts shoulders to hopefully allow for ease of future removal (hopefully not) lol

Might be some light at the end of the tunnel and I still could make snet on the 22nd but still lots to do.

Looks like it did have in the past, now it’s just got the 32mm nut.

This is why I don't let anyone I don't know work on my car!

Sometimes the pressures of getting it done to a timescale or a budget for an employer can end up causing little mistakes.

My attitude these days is it'll be done when it's done. And done right.

I Built this car in 7 weeks from a bare shell needing complete floors and other bits, I made the cage etc. They wanted the week before for testing but it wasn't ready.

Osf is getting there, gotta sort some new nuts out and a washer for the hub/nut as it’s hanging on by its teeth.

Also got an ultra racing front strut brace to stiffen up the top mounts as I didn’t like the look of the holes against the fixings for the coil overs, could easily pop through in my opinion pics to follow.
