small touches

Nice mods! I like the black on grey, suits it. Ive also de-wipered the rear, looks alot cleaner.

There are a few free things to do to make them feel a little perkier. They have a plastic plate over the intake hole, if you remove the left hand side grill you can see it but ideally the bumper needs to be removed to get rid of it. Likewise the plastic intake that runs across the front of the engine has tiny holes in, I found covering these up increased the induction noise to a nice degree and no hot air comes in. Little things but they are free.

Any other plans?

Lots of little things to do most important is a remap but saving for this and family holidays is hard work.... just got some poly bushes today so I’m going to fit them when I get chance :thumb:

They do bud. I fitted the Powerflex torque arm bush first then did the gearbox and bottom rear bush, vibrations were basically the same but it feels much better. The vibrations do settle and you mainly just feel them at idle. The main engine mount bush (under torque arm) is ment to be the worst for vibrations so I have left mine standard.

Good to hear, was thinking of removing it and getting a new torque arm. I've not done a great deal of miles yet so time will tell. seems worst just as i'm pulling away idles not too bad. I have no plans of doing the others but you know how it is when you start tinkering :thumb:

Haha fitted mine a month ago now, and still vibrating away nicely!

Can’t fault them though, mine certainly feels like it’s pulling much better (worth the compromise!) I couldn’t stand the slightest interior rattle, but now I’ve just accepted my fate haha cf17427d87427ee515b685716947784f.jpg

I think mine has started to settle a bit (or I could be just getting used to it) as you say it does feel “sharper “ hopefully it goes a bit more because any rattle messes with my ocd big style

I found you can track some of the rattles down though. Stuff in my glovebox was vibrating, just put some sticky back velcro in the glovebox bottom. The OBD2 port also rattles in the housing and where my indicator and windscreen wiper switch are worn these rattle a bit. Lastly, the front seatbelt mountings are known to rattle. All these things add up but in all honesty, its not that bad.
