A few of the Sabelt fitted up, thanks to @BenAG200 on the sale!

Don't you want to be mounting the plate behind the wheel instead of the QR? Looks a little odd IMO. You can just extend the cables and put in some connectors or something so if you wanted to remove the wheel via the QR then you just have to undo the cable connectors? Would look much better!

After Bedford and seeing this... wouldn't mind a Mk3 again :tearsofjoy:

How is the new one? Prefer it on track to the 200? I’m sure I can supply you a set of 5x108’s if needs be

I’m happy with how it is mate. Having to disconnect cables every time (to me) defeats the object of having “quick” release whether they’re pins or conblocks.

I never took the Mk3 on track, annoyingly. Though the Mk4 is impressive for sure, and as a road car it's miles better. Just need to get a bit more experience and then I can start thinking about any essential mods like coilovers and... wheels! Sadly you don't have any 5 x 114.3 wheels for me :worried:

So after a long hike to London last weekend with a 3am start, 5 hour drive, 12 mile walk around central, get back to the cars for 9pm and the return 5 hour drive home saw us a simple new design for the cars!

Together with @atkin92 & @Ollie930 200’s and Chris’ 250 which I’m sure they’ll post a snap of sooner or later.

Another major update is I can finally get shot of the Spax for a set of B14’s. Looking forward to the switch. Spax will be up for sale soon for those interested!

Damn! So simple yet so effective. Decals on GW really suit them! Can't wait to see it on the B14s.

Sabelt wheel looks soo good!!!!!!

Is there a massive difference in feel and pleasure while pressing it with the small steering wheel or is it more of an esthetical upgrade? How does feel in the city? I can't decide whether I should have the original wheel refurbed or go for a sabelt....

I found the standard one perfect, this was really an impulse buy as they’re getting harder to come by in good nick.

The only down fall is I get clammy hands when driving and you can only imagine what the material gets like until it dries!

Other than that, I would recommend it, comfortable wheel with thumb points either side, and obviously smaller which is easy to manoeuvre!

So, @atkin92 finally persuaded me to get a set of rear catches on the boot, I was on the fence for a long time but finally bit the bullet and got the hammer and chisel out... [emoji6]

During the Christmas break, @Ollie930 also got the new suspension set-up on for me which I am over the moon with! Such a difference to the Spax, being the same price - B14’s piss all over be Spax. Just need to toy with the front camber and see what I can deal with on track.

Now I have the harness’, I’m making a move from the Corbeau recliners onto a fixed seat for obvious reasons. Heading to AutoSport this Sunday at the NEC to see what’s about. At the moment I’m heading towards the Club Sports but have missed out on the February batch. Speaking to the rep he informed me that the next batch is a “new design” with subtle changes such as the harness grommets and suede patch. Will be interesting to see the difference, with fingers crossed I should get them ordered this weekend.

Other than that, I have CM Comp brake fog ducts on order. Whether I use them for the brakes or airbox, I’m not sure. I had brake fade at the ring but I’m sure that was down to my shitty pads, so that’s another thing to add to the list.
