White Clio 200 cup pack

Last bits of vinyl on today (bonnet and boot strip) and the carbon cup racer spoiler! Very happy with where the car is at now. Roll on Snetterton 300 27th feb! :smiley:

Looks good bud, I'm also considering carbon spoiler, I take it u got from France, was it easy to fit or did u re use holes that were there??

Its not the easiest as it mounts in the middle and you have a look at where it needs mounting you'll see there's a double skin.
 
Looks soo much better! Ive just ordered mine for MC racing but been told it wont be here untill the end of February, how long did you have yo wait for yours?
 
You bought one of the spoilers! That looks savage, I'll be buying one shortly :smiley:

Over all happy with the spoiler but be warned it's not perfect.. It's wet lay up carbon so done by hand.. This means little imperfections (mainly little scratches/white marks) but it does what it's supposed to do but is a tenth of the weight of the original spoiler. Also i noticed when the light caught mine the other day its got 2 fairly large dents in the top of the spoiler so i'm currently emailing trying to get a replacement one sent to me.

A friend of mine will be there on the 27th, look out for a Seat Ibiza in track suit.
 
Great work, just going back on your thread, seen that you have a decat manifold and exhaust on........had it MOT'd recently with this set up? If so interested to find out the outcome. Mines due and wondering if I need to get a temp cat put in to get it through.

I would guess you will need one fitted as that's now part of the test too.
 
Just ordered some carbon door cards! To be completely honest there's not much point for these at the moment but will save some weight i guess! The main this is it makes space for when i decide to get the front half of the roll cage done what will most likely happen later this year. Will post pics when they're on the car!

So this Sunday gone i popped to a show near me. (PocketRockets sunday meet at SCC) lots of nice cars there and i ended up getting an award for "Best Project Car" was pretty chuffed! A couple snaps of the car:
Still waiting on those carbon door cards.. apparently the company have had them on order since the beginning of December! -.-
I also popped by BeanieSport over the weekend as my rear left brake was rubbing badly. Turns out the discs have had it so ordered 2 new rear drilled & grooved discs!
