Is there a guide to fitting a itg maxogen?

Getting a itg maxogen off smoggy mark tonight so im just wondering if theres some guide on here to fit it?! Ive got a samco 76>70 mm reducer for it

If your setting it up like Craig211 im sure he will let you know how to fit:thumbup1:I will give you a few pointers later mate.

I relie need to get my ass in gear and write that guide haha don't have any pictures but sure I can steal a couple haha, maybe stop mark tagging me in these things lmao only joking @smoggymark H21 it's pretty simple but depends on the setup you want I have mine down the rear of the battery box which I prefer for keeping a tidy engine bay and you can keep the standard battery. The worst part is removing the old airbox relie which can be removed by follow ktecs guide e4ade8uz.jpgy8ujaju8.jpg to get the itg to fit you will have to cut the hose at both ends which will be a bit trial and error I can try and measure mine and get back to you. Also be careful around the clutch pipework down the bottom the itg will be very close if not actually touching, I still need to secure the end of mine but relie lazy and it's been in almost a year lmao. Any questions feel free to ask I don't mind helping

Yeah craig i want to set it up like yours for now. If you dont mind yeah it would help if you measured yours up as i dont want to mess it up haha

Well as you've said you have the hose already could you measure the length of each end, ie stick the hose into a corner and measure from the flat surface to the end of the hose then I can figure out how much I have cut off H21 the overall length of my hose now is 240mm round the outside of the curve

Ive measured 294mm, do you cut it both sides or just one end?

Both ends I've cut less off of the throttle body side and the hose is about a fingers width away from the underside of the scuttle panel, I'd say cut 10mm off and then try fit then keep doing that till it fits, IIRC I cut about 25mm off of one side at least but for the life of me I can't remember which, I'll go take some close up pics to see if it helps you along

The pictures would help like mate, cheers

Here you go H21 got none of it being fitted as I was too excited and just wanted it in lmao

Top work Craig211 I'm going to tag you even more now at every opportunity ha!I've never fitted one at the back of the battery so this is a great guide mate.

I'll go install the original airbox buy a new hose and start from scratch again haha I will write one soon haha @smoggymark

Cheers Craig211 that will come in handy i just hope i do it right haha! Cheers again smoggy mark aswell for getting me the maxogen and giving me a few tips!

Jmax Yes! It is what I have done. I didn't want to spend money on another battery when the original is perfectly fine

Thanks for getting back to me Craig211 Thats exactly my thoughts, all I have to do now is find a maxogen worth the money.

I fitted one behind a lads battery yesterday, only took me an hour and that's including waiting for the rain to stop, cutting the reducer is trail and error but it's a good clean fit when done
