My Clio will be going soon...!

I hope I've done the right thing but I have placed a factory order for an Audi TT TFSI coupe with S-Tronic dual clutch gearbox!!

I'm hoping for a September 1st collection and sadly the Clio will have to go! :bye2:

It felt like it was finally time for me to accept that my left knee is knackered (after an accident in 2003), it isn't going to get any better and that an automatic transmission doesn't have to mean dull!!

The new Clio EDC 200T was initially a contender but I got such a big discount on the TT - and low rate finance - that the stupidly overpriced Clio wasn't even in the running!!

I'll be selling up in August and I hope that my red & black themed car will find a new happy owner who will cherish it like I have!! It hasn't missed a beat & I hope to enjoy my last summer of hot hatch ownership!!

Hairdresser jokes are welcome - I've heard them already!!

My great aunt has the TT S line, it's the 2.0t and its an awesome car! The old ones I don't rate but the new ones......whoa!!

Hi fella enjoy it still a lovely car hope you still stay on take care Kevin

Thank you! I hope you're enjoying the Megane RS250? I would have bought one myself if there was an automatic transmission!! I'll stick around on the forum and I'll definitely be at The French Car Show in the Clio......

rediculas amount of money for what they are.....

I'm not disagreeing that they are expensive but then you marvel at the shut lines on the bodywork, you notice the quality of the paintwork, you sit inside & admire the fit & finish of the interior, you fire up the 12-speaker, active BOSE surround system, you drive it and experience the dual clutch S-Tronic transmission, you get over 40mpg on a test drive....

There are plenty of good reasons to buy a TT - a car I've always disliked until I drove one!! :jase2:

I've gone for a TFSI S-Line with S-Tronic & loads of useful extras... The strong residual values make for a very attractive PCP as well which adds to the arguments for buying one! :zomg:

Nice purchase mate. Like you said Audi's come with a high price tag however you do get not only the strong VAG build quality but the luxury interior and top sound system and quattro system to go with it. I would like an Audi A3 after the clio. A new S3 would be awesome) but I don't think my price tag will stretch that far. lol.
I do like the new TT's tho so i'm sure you will have fun, sporty, quick, small, and good MPG with 40mpg.

Enjoy your last few months with the clio mate. I'm sure it will go to a good home with a careful owner.

 I loved mine, got it as a 21st birthday present to myself and loved the two years I had it, its only car I've kept more than 18 months lol

Nice upgrade, was looking at buying one myself but don't have any where near the money yet :tongueout:

Make sure you take lots of photos, love the look of them.

TT is currently well out of date, wouldn't be surprised if a new ones comes out soon.

My dad is currently looking at a black edition and I can see the prices dropping.

A completely new TT is on the cards but that is why Audi are trying so hard to sell the current car! It was the same story with the BMW 1-series coupe!!

A friend of mine pointed out the new TT today when we were out driving and I've always seen them (as you mentioned before) as a bit of a hairdressers car, is this not really the case anymore?

Maybe I'm living in the old prejudices :poke:
