Where can I buy one of these and how much of a difference does it make.
G Glen Jul 31, 2011 #5 well what else is there todo other than cams. I have exhaust, filter, remap, matched inlet.
BenW Jul 31, 2011 #6 There aren't any more 'cheap' mods worth doing, you need to start looking towards forced induction or tuning the cylinder head in some way

E Ed... Jul 31, 2011 #7 you have all power increasing mods. y not try and improve the brakes and suspension?
G Glen Jul 31, 2011 #8 because I want more power. I think I might go down the turbo route so ive started collecting all the parts.

E Ed... Aug 6, 2011 #9 Yeah you will need a turbo inlet plenum then and a ptfe gasket wouldnt make any difference

E Ed... Aug 6, 2011 #11 I was under the impression if you change to a turbo manifold you get more power as air is directly distrubuted to individual cylinders kinda like a throttle bodied turbo system.

BenW Aug 6, 2011 #13 You'd need a different exhaust manifold, don't see why you would need a different inlet manifold though

Spanky-197 Paid Member Jan 12, 2014 #14 anyone know where i can get a set of the ptfe gaskets for a 197? Thanks
shakey_hand_man Jan 12, 2014 #15 The PTFE gaskets are a waste of money, I had a set and firstly they wouldn't seal properly and secondly they made no difference to inlet temps If you want more power, swapping the Y section of the manifold gives reasonable gains -Andy
