I had heard storys where everyone found issues with snow-foam not doing what they expected. In this case it did exactly as I expected! My car was brown it was so dirty.

I will do a full write up about the quick wash later on but i'll leave these as a teaser (pics when the foam had ran off it was a lot thicker).

Possibly a stupid question, but do you need to have a pressure washer? We have great water pressure here, so no real need for a pressure washer, but does that mean no snow foam for me?

no mate can use one of these like i did but it isnt as good as the pressure washer one i have now

Congrats. Most people mix the foam too thick, they think that a thicker foam looks better. But you want the foam to be splashing off the floor when it runs off the body. In a splosh splosh action.

Looks like you mixed it correctly, so it lifted the dirt, then fell off the car.
