i actually am mate.faster than i thought aswell.especially when the astra was running 290bhp.but it was too much and couldnt put it on the road

Lovely looking cars. We to had a VXR (Corsa though) and now have a 200. The 200 is obviously better but I did love the old Corsa.

Both nice cars. Its always nice to hear about how people are suprised about how much "va va voom" so to speak...that the 197s have. I pleasently suprised once I started getting used to mine

vxr does look sweet though, but hats off to the 197

I had a silver VXR in Feb....great car but the handling of the 197 puts the Astra to shame. I even had whiteline RARB and Dappa springs on mine which improved things...but still not as good as the Clio.

This is how she ended up when my dads house was broken into and my keys taken. Id left her round his house whilst I was livin it up in Canada!

Nice Clio, I love Albi. Got to say I'm not keen on VXRs if I'm totally honest.

197-F1, your VXR looks fine from the drivers side, but then when you see the passenger side it kind of makes you say, 'oh right, I see'! Lol! Shame. Was it a total write off or did it come off a little better? The door handle's been ripped out the door hasn't it!

Total write off. Police said if there was a passenger they would be dead. 2 fence posts penetrated straight through the door! Was a right mess!
