200: **** this looks good..

22k for a car that'll be knackered after:

1: Some motorway miles - just like any other car
2: A harsh winter - with wax on it, its the same as any other car
3: A jetwash - cant use a jet wash anyway
4: Bird ****/berries - same factor as any other car if not treated

it looks good but its a fad, these "special" editions will either have to pampered to within an inch of its life (not what the clio is for) or they'll be wrecked. Genuinely don't see the point...

A fad? Maybe if it was wrapped but how many manufacturers do you actually know at the moment with actual matt paint? Not many
 
bmw charges £3500 for matt paint does it not....makes the clio good value....:wink:

Makes me laugh how so many people seem to know a lot about a matt painted car but never owned one, or probably had a hands on experience. Where there are benefits from matt finishes, there are also a few sacrifices you have to make so "each to their own" as they say. The price you see and the price you pay are 2 totally different things :biggrin:
