Stupid 200 stereo stalk adapter!!

Hey guys.

Ive just bought a Alpine iDA-X305S - DIGITAL MEDIA RECEIVER for my 200, and ive also got 2 different adapters to try and retain the use of my steering wheel controls (CTSRN005 and CTSRN007) but i cant get either to work! its doin my head in!

has anyone fitted this stereo to a 200? what do i need to do?

CTSRN007 should be the correct one for a 200, does it even get power?

If you use the connectors in your picture that I presume came with the head unit, does it work? You should be able to connect those to the ISO connectors that come out of the centre console.

As in scrap using the connects2 box for the moment.

Where are you from out of interest?

no i dont think it does actually, the only way i have got it to work was with the CTSRN005 but the steering wheel controls didnt work.

It's a bit tricky without seeing the whole thing, when I did mine it was primarily just a case of connecting it up in the only way it could be.

It goes the other side of the connect2 box.

yeah i got that patch lead. i thought it would be like that too but the connections just dont seem to match up.

can you get a picture with everything in it but nothing plugged in? will try and compare it with mine from memory....
