SteBurns finally posts lol

If you're on Cliosport you probably already know who I am, I have to admit I don't use Clio197 much! ;/ Hopefully, I'll be on here more often from now on

I've had my 197 two years now and love it to bits, I started by lowering it on H&R springs and getting the wheels done black, the car was already fitted with the aftermarket Renault spoiler. I then changed the standard headlights for the projector ones and fitted an ITG filter. Once that was done I got the car live mapped locally to smooth out the power delivery. By this time I was doing trackdays so I snapped up a set of KW V1 coilovers, these really transformed the car! I then changed the mirror covers for black ones and set about removing the rear seats to lose weight and make it easier to get my Bmx bike in lol.

With a bit of luck a rollcage will be fitted in the next week or so to complete the 'track' look! 8)

Ste.

how ist it to drive with that lowering? Isn't it very (or too) hard on the street compared to the original springing?

Love your car seen it on cliosport, stance is perfect. Quality pics to!!
As above how does it drive now on the V1's? Did I read on cliosport that you took spacers out of the back coilovers to get it lower?

BTW awesome BMX skills seen some of that to :thumbup1:

Cheers guy!

Totally recommend the V1's as they're awesome, I just got a local garage to fit them and they've been fantastic without even having them set up properly (which I will do when I get chance!)

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the height at the back so I had the adjuster removed to bring it down a bit. Doesn't seem to be doing any harm and it still handles amazing

love the car mate looks like a red one of mine lol liking the camber of the rear wheels need to get me some coil overs

This car always catches my eye and makes me think why didn't I get a red one!

Been told about your driving skills being good fella by russ, so look forward to seeing you on track sometime.

Bout time ste.

which part of the rear adjuster did you remove.?

Hey Jase!

I removed the threaded adjuster that raises or lowers the ride height. Yours seems pretty low at the back anyway, have you done anything to yours other than setting it at the lowest setting?

Thanks mate, yours was looking good too at Cosford  Some coilovers on that and it would be amazing!
