Steamy headlights??

So it was washed in cold water? Even the soapy stuff?

Did mine yesterday in cold conditions with cold water, no condensation in headlights.

Get it checked out Maz, though I'm sure the hairdryer solution would work.

Yeah no point getting it checked out. I took mine to Renault with the lights misting up a bit, and they said they arnt covered under warrenty, they are designed to do so. I couldnt be arsed to argue! Another Renault thing I guess.

best bet like I said previously is to not use the jet wash on them directly.

I know an RTE who looked after me with the 182 so I will pop in and see him, very helpful.

The simplest solution, should you so desire, is to stash a silica-sachet in the casing somewhere (like the ones you get in a shoe box, and the like).

This will absorb any moisture in the headlight and will solve the steaming up issue.

Hm, I like your thinking, dont have any at the moment but will think on and try and keep two.

Full of useless ideas me  LOL

But yeah, it's the perfect fix for this, doesn't involve a dealer and takes literally 5 minutes once you have the sachets to hand
