Stalk Adapter for Cabasse Car

Hi everyone, I think this question has been asked a lot, but I'd just like to clarify that a CTSRN005 or CTSRN005.2 adapter will work in a car originally fitted with a Cabasse stereo? I have looked online and it says that it only works with a VDO stereo, however others have said it works with cabasse as well?

The stalk adapter lead should work with an aftermarket headunit regardless of whether or not the car came out of the factory with the 6CD Cabasse unit. Out of curiosity, do you have the link to the page that says it only works with a VDO system?

It's arrived and working perfectly. I believe it was the dynamicsounds website, as when the adapter arrived it said on the packaging it was for the VDO system - it's working fine though!
